Overview

How I got started

I began racing at the age of nine on a 1983 Suzuki DS80. I moved up to the 80 class and moved through the ranks locally while just racing recreationally. I spent 3 years as a 125 Novice and 2005 will be my second year as an intermediate.

Goals for the Future

-First and foremost, continue to represent my sponsors in a positive manner
-Continue to race competitively while I finish my degree and enter graduate school
-Continue learning

Bio

Why do you like this sport?

Motocross has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I`ve had many ups and downs over the years but that is what make motocross fun to me. I like the challenges racing presents and I am always striving to improve. In addition, "motocross people" are all great people

Some Personal Information About Me:

Motocross has been my passion since I was a small child. I`ve been riding ever since the day I convinced my parents to get me a bike shortly after my seventh birthday. My background is also influenced by BMX as I competed in it for a few years achieving the level of intermediate and being state champion in the 10 year old age group. As my focus on motocross increased I ceased racing BMX but stayed involved by announcing races when I had spare time. Outside of racing I am a senior in college with a 4.0 GPA. I am currently attending the University of Wyoming majoring in Kinesiology and Health Promotion. I also work at a local Yamaha, KTM, and Arctic Cat dealership-TNT Motorsports.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

Training is essential for motocross. Living in an area where winter restricts riding, I usually train 5-6 days a week during the off season. I actually enjoy the training process. So much so that my college major is Kineisology and I plan to pursue a career in exercise physiology. I would really enjoy the oppurtunity to use my education in the motocross industry..
